The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tanaka is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Day missing with a left hand there. Tanaka was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Day throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sunny Day seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Day misses with an uppercut. Tanaka saw that one coming.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Tanaka.
