Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boxing Spar (ranked 4190 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Rain (ranked 5372 p4p, 0 weight class). Rain comes into a darkened arena with his song building. For Heavy Metal we will die! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spar closes the distance and clinches. Rain misses with the head strike.
Rain tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Spar's elbow. A nice left hand lands by Rain.
Spar misses with a body punch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Rain. A hook to the body from Rain.
Rain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rain. Spar does a little dance to reset his feet. Spar scores with a jab. Rain acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Rain connects with a crisp jab. Spar has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Rain scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rain seems to be working for a kimura but Spar defends the submission attempt. Rain is trying to control. Spar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rain works his way into side control. Spar is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rain is controlling him well. Rain is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Spar has escaped the position, nice work there. Spar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rain wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Spar is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rain asserts his dominance and retains side control. Spar regains half guard. Spar is trying to get back to full guard. Rain is looking to advance position but Spar won't allow it. Spar is trying to get back to full guard. Rain trying to pass the guard but Spar defending well. Rain is working for an americana but Spar has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Rain was thinking about the submission.

Rain is looking to stall here but Spar recovers full guard. Rain trying to control but Spar is working from the bottom. Rain prevents Spar from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rain sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Spar's guard. Spar is defending against the submission attempts here by Rain.
Spar wants to get back to his feet. Rain seems to be working for a kimura but Spar defends the submission attempt. Rain wants to free his trapped foot but Spar is holding on for dear life with his legs. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Spar is trying to control but can't.

Black Rain dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Spar shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Rain dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rain misses with a low kick.
A big right from Rain misses. Rain takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Black Rain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spar moves out of range of the strikes. A big left from Spar misses. Rain throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Spar digs a good body shot into Rain's ribs. A chopping leg kick lands by Rain. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spar stuns Rain with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Spar defending well as Rain loads up on a big left hand. A counter left hand to the body from Spar misses its target. Spar slips under a jab from Rain. Spar fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Spar swings for the body but Rain moves out of range.

A low kick from Rain is predictable there and Spar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rain on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Spar. Spar obviously looking to wear him down.

Spar throws a hook to the side of Rain's head but Rain sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Rain looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Spar scores with a jab to the body. Spar on the wrong end of a nice jab. Rain scores with a nice head shot. Rain throws a quick inside leg kick. Rain cracks Spar with a good jab. Rain throws a push kick but Spar slaps the foot to one side. Spar swings for the body but Rain moves out of range.
It seemed like Rain was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Spar connects with a right hand. Rain shakes it off. This has been an exciting period of action! Rain scores with a nice strike. The fight moves into the clinch position. Spar cracks Rain with a nice body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rain blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Rain prevents a body shot from Spar. Rain misses with a hook to the ribs.

Rain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Spar throws a looping overhand right but Rain ducks down to avoid it. Rain swinging wildly here.
Rain sizes up Spar with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. A looping hook to the body misses from Spar. Rain does a little dance to reset his feet. Rain has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Spar stuns Rain with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Spar avoids the head kick by Rain.

Spar is looking to wear down Rain with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Spar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rain to score with a decent uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spar throws a hook but Rain avoids it easily. Nice jab there from Rain. Rain throws a looping overhand right but Spar ducks down to avoid it. Rain connects with a body shot that sends Spar's belly button to the back. Rain uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Spar has time to react. Spar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice defenses there by Rain. Rain fails with a takedown attempt. Rain throws a jab when Spar was well out of range. Rain cracks the inside of Spar's front leg. Spar misses with a looping right. Rain uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Spar. Rain with the counter takedown but Spar avoids it easily. Rain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. This has been an exciting period of action! Spar wants to get back to his feet but Rain is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Rain is pushing down on Spar's leg trying to pass to half guard. Spar is fighting to maintain full guard but Rain has managed to sneak the leg through. Rain is working for a submission of some sort.
Rain is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Spar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rain. Rain is looking to advance position but Spar won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Black Rain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Spar scores with the left hand. Rain knows he should have avoided that one. Spar scores with a nice body kick.
Spar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rain with the counter takedown but Spar avoids it easily. Rain throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Spar checks a leg kick. Spar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rain was well out of range. Poor timing from Spar. Spar walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Rain gets tackled into the cage by Spar. Spar maintains the clinch. Rain has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Spar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Spar misses with the head strike.

Rain takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! An uppercut to the body lands inside from Spar. Spar misses with a body punch.

Rain is looking to break free of the clinch but Spar has double underhooks. Rain throws a head punch that misses. Spar can't find room to land a body shot as Rain controls the action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rain scores with a one two! Spar had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. A nice leg kick lands there from Rain. Rain misses with an uppercut. Spar saw that one coming. Spar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rain looks like he wants to counter punch here. Spar cracks Rain with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Spar swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Spar lands a big head kick that sends Rain tumbling to the mat! Spar takes a step backwards and waves Rain back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rain is rocked! Boxing Spar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Spar lands with a shot to the body. Rain is still on wobbly legs! Can Spar finish him? Rain switches off momentarily and Spar cracks him with a monster right hand! Rain topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Spar dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Spar!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Boxing Spar! During a confident post fight interview, Boxing Spar thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
