Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hodi Garbandit (ranked 4262 p4p, 340 weight class) and Lartem Obov (ranked 3906 p4p, 324 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hodi Garbandit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lartem Obov!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obov misses with a lunging right hand
and Garbandit counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A low kick from Obov misses
enabling Garbandit to counter with a crisp jab.
Obov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Obov gets tackled into the cage by Garbandit. Garbandit maintains the clinch.

and Garbandit counters with a crisp right hand that drops Obov! Garbandit lets Obov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Obov is still on wobbly legs! Can Garbandit finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Obov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Garbandit pinned against the cage. Garbandit gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hodi Garbandit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lartem Obov.
Obov takes one to the chin there.
Hodi Garbandit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Garbandit counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Garbandit clinches up with Obov and pushes him back against the cage.
Obov seems to have recovered his senses.

Obov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Garbandit swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Hodi Garbandit is winning the standup battle so far.
Garbandit lands with a good body shot.
Obov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Obov has taken the fight to the clinch.

Garbandit lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Garbandit creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Obov with a big uppercut! Obov tries to clinch up but Garbandit pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Obov to the mat! Obov covers up and Garbandit unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Hodi Garbandit!
