Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mitchell Orr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nick Noble!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orr has a takedown stuffed.
Orr tries to clinch up
and Noble counters with a series of strikes. Orr will be more careful next time no doubt.

Noble bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Orr wants to get back to his feet.

Noble working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Noble is staying tight to Orr's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Noble's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Orr tries to buck Noble off but Noble is having none of it.
Noble wants to stand but Orr has his arm trapped.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Orr is trying to control Noble's posture but Noble avoids it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Noble drives through with a takedown into guard.

Orr could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Noble throwing strikes from guard but Orr blocks nicely.

Orr has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Noble is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Orr has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Noble avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Orr goes for a takedown in the clinch but Noble prevents it.

and Orr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Orr.
Nick Noble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Noble shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Orr manages to escape and get back to his feet!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Noble throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Noble is working Orr over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Noble accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Noble fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Orr to the ground. Noble is now in Orr's guard.

Nick Noble showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Noble drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Noble content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Noble goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Orr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Noble but great work by Orr.

Orr misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Orr wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Noble, who protects the arm well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are battling for position here. Noble manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Orr postures up in Noble's guard and throws a big left but Noble blocks it.
Orr has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Noble escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Orr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Orr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Noble works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Orr lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Noble has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Noble takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Noble wants to pass the guard but Orr is keeping the position.

Noble controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Orr wants to get back to his feet but Noble is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Noble tries to free his leg and advance position but Orr is retaining full guard.

Noble is still trying to improve position.
Mitchell Orr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Nick Noble is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Nick Noble comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Noble has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
