Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bull Dozer (ranked 5737 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joan Carillo (ranked 5749 p4p, 570 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bull Dozer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joan Carillo!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carillo closes the distance and clinches.

Carillo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dozer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dozer tries to bum rush Carillo with a series of wild strikes but Carillo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Carillo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Carillo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carillo lands an overhand right.
Carillo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Oooh a lovely combination from Carillo sends Dozer down but not out. Carillo dives into side control looking to finish.


Dozer is rocked!


It looks like Bull Dozer has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carillo wants to stand but Dozer has his arm trapped.
Oh Dozer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Carillo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Carillo advances to full mount.
Dozer throwing hammer fists to the chest of Carillo. What's that going to do exactly?
Dozer seems to have got his legs back now.
Dozer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dozer tries to get out of the position.
Dozer regains half guard.
Dozer controlling the position well.
Carillo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dozer has hold of Carillo's hands but Carillo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Carillo seems to be looking for submissions.

Carillo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dozer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carillo.

Carillo tries to stand but Dozer is controlling from the bottom.
Carillo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dozer's head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Carillo wants to control from the top but Dozer keeps moving.
Dozer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Carillo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dozer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Carillo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carillo wants it to stay on the feet.
Carillo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dozer's head.
Carillo throws a series of punches but Dozer avoids them all with ease.
Dozer throws a big counter combination but Carillo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Carillo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dozer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Carillo lands a nice shot to the body.

Dozer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Carillo was covering up waiting for the punch and Dozer finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Carillo is looking to stand up but Dozer isn't so interested in that idea.
Dozer slips nicely into half guard.
Carillo is looking to get back to full guard here but Dozer has managed to pass to side control instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carillo throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Dozer counters with a right hand to the body.
Dozer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Carillo looks winded!
Dozer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carillo swivels and escapes.
Dozer tries to clinch up but Carillo circles away and keeps his distance.
Dozer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It seemed like Carillo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Dozer slaps away a takedown attempt from Carillo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
An attempted straight right counter from Dozer misses the target.
Carillo keeps Dozer at a distance using the push kick.

Carillo clinches.

Dozer pulls guard successfully.
Carillo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dozer scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Carillo scores with a jab to the jaw.

Dozer instigates a clinch.
Carillo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dozer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Dozer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dozer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carillo as he avoids it easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Carillo wants to hold on but Dozer pushes him away.

and Dozer counters with a one-two to the body.
Dozer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dozer wants it to stay on the feet.
Carillo tries to clinch there but Dozer circles away.
Dozer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dozer is looking to clinch but Carillo is avoiding it.
Carillo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dozer.
Carillo throws out a counter right but Dozer avoids it with no problem.

Dozer is trying to stick to Carillo's back but Carillo is turning into Dozer. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dozer's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Carillo.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dozer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Dozer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carillo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bull Dozer spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
