Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ragnar Diaz (ranked 1957 p4p, 214 weight class) and Wang Qiang (ranked 1840 p4p, 202 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ragnar Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wang Qiang! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Qiang misses. Diaz throws a right hand that Qiang ducks under and follows up with a left that Qiang also avoids with ease. A solid leg kick lands there for Diaz.
Qiang misses with a double jab.
Diaz appears to be looking for a big counter. Diaz finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Qiang is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Sloppy strikes from Diaz. Those never looked like landing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Qiang! But no joy. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Diaz!
It looks like Wang Qiang has been cut. Qiang throws a body punch but Diaz moves out of range. Diaz loads up on a big right hand but Qiang slips the punch. Qiang closes the distance and clinches. Qiang's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Qiang missing with knees to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Qiang jumps guard and drags Diaz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Qiang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Diaz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Diaz trying to stand up but can't free himself from Qiang's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Qiang is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Diaz trying to control but Qiang is working from the bottom. Qiang has a closed guard, preventing Diaz from standing up. Diaz stands and throws Qiang's legs to the side, diving into side control. Qiang is not content to let Diaz control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Qiang sneaks back into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Qiang is looking to improve his position.
Diaz throwing shots but Qiang is blocking nicely. Diaz is looking to stall here but Qiang recovers full guard. Diaz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Qiang throws a lazy right hand but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Qiang looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A head kick misses from Diaz. Diaz scores with a three punch combo!
A combination from Diaz does no damage. Qiang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Qiang doesn't manage to clinch there - Diaz circles away.
Qiang connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Diaz momentarily.
Diaz thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz lands a really nice looking cross but Qiang seems unphased.
Diaz blocks a low kick nicely. Qiang looks to land a body kick but Diaz moved away. Diaz is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Qiang. Qiang throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz moves out of range easily. The fighters circling - Diaz throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Qiang. Diaz misses with a double jab.
Qiang tries a quick counter leg kick but Diaz is wise to it. Qiang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Diaz manages to avoid it. Qiang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Diaz sees it coming and avoids it easily. Diaz plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Qiang tests Diaz's chin there with a solid looking shot. Diaz throws a shot to the body.
Diaz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Qiang cracks Diaz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Diaz lands with a nice body punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ragnar Diaz dominated that round. The cut man is working on Wang Qiang's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Qiang pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Diaz wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Qiang. Diaz looks to land a combination but Qiang avoids it well. Diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Diaz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Qiang can do to turn this around? Qiang throws a hook but Diaz blocks it. Diaz cracks Qiang with a right hand to the side of the head. Qiang throws out a loose jab but Diaz uses good head movement to avoid it. Diaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Qiang closes the distance and pushes Diaz back into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Qiang fails to pull guard.
Diaz manages to break the clinch.
Diaz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Diaz blocks a low kick nicely. Diaz looks to land a combination but Qiang avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Qiang fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Qiang moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A little jabbing left from Qiang on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Diaz throws a series of punches but Qiang avoids them all with ease. Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Qiang digs a good hook to Diaz's body.
Diaz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Diaz throws a jab when Qiang was well out of range. A nice side step and Qiang releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. A lazy left from Qiang finds it's target. Qiang misses with a looping right. Diaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Qiang looks to land a body kick but Diaz moved away. Qiang lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Qiang looks to score with a jab to the body but Diaz is just out of range. Sloppy strikes from Diaz. Those never looked like landing. Qiang is trying to counter with his kicks. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Diaz misses with a combination
and Qiang counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Ragnar Diaz is winning the standup battle so far. Diaz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Qiang throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely. Qiang misses with an uppercut. Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Qiang swats him away and circles back towards the center. Diaz backing away here, and Qiang unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Crunch! Diaz slams his shin into Qiang's torso. A slow jab from Diaz misses its intended target. Qiang wants to clinch up but Diaz keeps it at a distance. Diaz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Diaz misses with a hook. Qiang counters with a body kick. Diaz tries to clinch and Qiang counters with a stiff right hand. Ragnar Diaz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Diaz is looking to clinch. And Qiang responds with a good body kick, but Diaz manages to step out the way in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Qiang cracks the inside of Diaz's front leg. Qiang showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Diaz.
Diaz lands with a nice body kick. Qiang throws a shot to the body.
Diaz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That has opened up Wang Qiang's cut even more. Diaz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Qiang misses with an attempted mid kick.
Diaz throws a big counter combination but Qiang scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Qiang moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz slips a jab and a cross from Qiang.
Nice jab there from Diaz. Qiang throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Diaz on the side of the head.
Diaz is rocked! Diaz walks straight into a right hand from Qiang - that's dropped him! Qiang jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Diaz from any more punishment! Diaz complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Wang Qiang! During a confident post fight interview, Wang Qiang thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
