The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins tries to close the distance and clinch up but robinson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Martins throws a looping overhand right but robinson ducks down to avoid it.
Horrible takedown by robinson or perhaps it was just good defense by Martins which made him look bad.
Martins is looking to clinch.
robinson shoots in but no luck this time.
robinson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Martins sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Martins gets full guard.
robinson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
robinson stands and steps away. Martins gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Martins tries to clinch but robinson is having none of it.
Martins is looking to score with low kicks.
Martins gets a takedown into half guard.
Martins winds up and cracks robinson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Martins lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
robinson is trying to control but can't.
robinson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Martins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Martins decides to return to a standing position.
Martins misses with a takedown
and robinson counters with a single leg into guard. Martins didn't expect that.
Martins thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Martins is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Martins looking to hit a scissor sweep but robinson is one step ahead there.
Martins looking for a triangle here. robinson is fighting it but it looks tight! Martins pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, robinson is tapping out - this one is all over!
