The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serpico feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lemieuxs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Serpico avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lemieux throws a hook to the side of Serpico's head but Serpico sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lemieux throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vinicio Serpico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Serpico fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lemieux looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lemieux throws a nice looking combination but Serpico bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Serpico throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lemieux tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Serpico manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Serpico lands with an uppercut that bounces Lemieux off the cage and back into range.

Lemieux has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Serpico.

Serpico lands a nice hook to Lemieux's body. Lemieux takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Serpico closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Lemieux! Serpico dives in looking to finish! Lemieux is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Vinicio Serpico was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
