Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Correia Azevedo (ranked 619 p4p, 74 weight class) and Evgeni Lomachenko (ranked 1924 p4p, 207 weight class). The key to victory for Luiz Correia Azevedo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lomachenko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lomachenko lands a couple of digs.
Azevedo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lomachenko is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Azevedo.

Lomachenko wants to free his trapped foot but Azevedo is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Azevedo tries to roll over but Lomachenko keeps him under control.
Lomachenko lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Azevedo quite badly. Azevedo pulls Lomachenko in close trying to recover. Lomachenko postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Azevedo on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Azevedo doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evgeni Lomachenko!
