The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brookes rushes Ramos Jnr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Brookes is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ramos Jnr gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Ramos Jnr throws a knee to the head but misses.
Brookes tries for a takedown. No joy.
Brookes is pressed up against the cage. Ramos Jnr has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brookes down to the mat. Brookes avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Brookes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ramos Jnr misses with the combination.
Ramos Jnr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ramos Jnr wants it to stay on the feet.
Mikel Ramos Jnr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Brookes.
Ramos Jnr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brookes was well out of range. Poor timing from Ramos Jnr .
Brookes shoots for a double leg takedown but Ramos Jnr sprawls well. He's pushed Brookes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ramos Jnr tries to bum rush Brookes with a series of wild strikes but Brookes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ramos Jnr lands a strong strike to the head of Brookes. That's dazed him! Ramos Jnr looking to finish here. Brookes is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Ramos Jnr lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
