Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elgin Turner (ranked 1140 p4p, 149 weight class) and Bill Hicks (ranked 3088 p4p, 374 weight class). Turner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is wu-tang clan - da mystery of chessboxin'. Hicks has chosen Bill Hicks at Dangerfields as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bill Hicks!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oh, that's a big right hand from Turner and Hicks goes tumbling to the canvas! Turner follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Hicks is trying to maintain the position but Turner is very close to passing his half guard.
Turner takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hicks is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Turner is nestled in close to Hicks, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Hicks is still in real trouble! Can Turner finish him?
Turner lands a big elbow - Hicks is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Turner!

In his post fight interview, Elgin Turner started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
