Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Randleman (ranked 1668 p4p, 168 weight class) and Jerome Steel (ranked 1893 p4p, 192 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome Steel!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel throws a predictable looking body shot

and Randleman counters with a shoot takedown. Steel fights it but they end up in guard.
Randleman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Randleman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Steel felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
