Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dax Baxter (ranked 5034 p4p, 230 weight class) and Zac Hendal (ranked 3310 p4p, 162 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dax Baxter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zac Hendal! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baxter has a takedown stuffed. Hendal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hendal throws a head kick that half lands.
Baxter scores with a three punch combo!
Baxter lands with a cross. Zac Hendal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hendal misses with a head kick.
Hendal rushes Baxter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Baxter has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hendal is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Baxter is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dax Baxter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baxter has Hendal pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hendal manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hendal. Hendal breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baxter fails with a takedown attempt. Baxter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Baxter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Despite the aggression on Hendal's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Hendal with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Baxter lands with a nice combination. Hendal backs away looking to recover. Baxter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hendal. Hendal tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Baxter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hendal scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Baxter misses the shot to the body. Baxter throws a head kick but Hendal moves out of range.
Baxter looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Baxter scores with a one two! Hendal had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Baxter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hendal blocks a leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A combination from Baxter does no damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hendal connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Baxter tumbling to the canvas! Hendal pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Baxter was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Zac Hendal! Zac Hendal was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. In defeat, Dax Baxter stepped up to the mic, saying 'Congratulations to my opponent. He was the better fighter tonight.'.
