PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Haze (ranked 127 p4p, 19 weight class) and Karol Mirowski (ranked 48 p4p, 6 weight class). Mirowski has chosen Mercy as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mirowski swings for the body but Haze moves out of range.
Haze thuds his right hand into Mirowski's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Haze throws a poor cross that misses
and Mirowski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mirowski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Haze has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hart Family Dungeon in the buildup to the fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Haze. Mirowski does a little dance to reset his feet.

Haze shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mirowski eats them both and turns towards Haze to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Karol Mirowski has been cut.
Haze lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Karol Mirowski tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
