Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Edwards (ranked 7176 p4p, 204 weight class) and Wladimir Yaroslev (ranked 7261 p4p, 206 weight class). Yaroslev is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Man with a Plan. The key to victory for Anthony Edwards has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Edwards! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wladimir Yaroslev! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, John Mangel and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edwards clinches. Edwards misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Yaroslev.
Edwards wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Yaroslev has him pressed against the cage. Yaroslev tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Edwards misses with some punches.
Yaroslev misses with a knee to the head. Yaroslev using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Edwards has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Yaroslev blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Yaroslev takes a knee to the side of the body. Edwards lands a shot to the body. Edwards is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Edwards misses with an elbow strike.
Yaroslev lands a takedown into guard.
Edwards is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Edwards misses with a body punch.
Yaroslev fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Yaroslev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Edwards plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Wladimir Yaroslev has been cut. Edwards tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Edwards gets a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yaroslev is trying to trip Edwards. He has hold of a leg but Edwards is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Yaroslev persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Edwards is trying to keep Yaroslev in close.
Yaroslev prevents Edwards from getting back to his feet. Yaroslev working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Edwards's head. Yaroslev landing with the ground and pound. Yaroslev with a flurry of punches that miss. Yaroslev throwing strikes from guard but Edwards blocks nicely. Edwards avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Yaroslev postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Edwards is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yaroslev is in close to Edwards's body, working some short punches and elbows. Edwards is breathing heavily. Yaroslev advances to half guard. Yaroslev is looking for a kimura here.
Yaroslev throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Edwards to regain full guard. Yaroslev with a nice head shot there. Edwards could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Yaroslev passes Edwards's right leg, so he's now in half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yaroslev lands strikes from half guard.
It looks like Anthony Edwards has been cut. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yaroslev connects with a nice short shot to Edwards's temple. Yaroslev scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Yaroslev is trying to work for a kimura but Edwards is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yaroslev is thwarting Edwards's attempts to control the position. Yaroslev winds up and cracks Edwards with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ground and pound from Yaroslev. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yaroslev working the head and body with strikes.
Edwards is rocked! Yaroslev lands a big elbow - Edwards is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Yaroslev!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wladimir Yaroslev! Wladimir Yaroslev took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Knockdown Clothes for their support in the buildup to the fight.
