Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buffet throws a head kick but Leach moves out of range.
Leach tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Buffet manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Leach fails with an attempt to clinch.
Buffet tries to work over Leach's front leg with a kick but Leach checks it.
Leach tries a head kick but it misses.
Buffet is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Buffet just misses with a punch to the body.
Leach is looking for a counter combo.
Buffet misses with a few strikes there.
Buffet swats away the attempt to clinch by Leach.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leach tries to close the distance and clinch but Buffet swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Leach swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Leach misses with a series of wild punches.
Buffet is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Buffet decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Leach has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Buffet is on him like a limpet, forcing Leach back against the cage.
Leach is pushing Buffet up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Leach can't break the clinch.

Buffet lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leach works his way to full guard. Good work.
Leach not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Buffet controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Leach is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Buffet's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Leach is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Buffet is aware though and is defending well.

Buffet pushing down on Leach's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Buffet is taking a breather. Leach says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Buffet is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Leach is trying to maintain the position but Buffet is very close to passing his half guard.
Buffet is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Leach doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Buffet.

Leach has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Buffet is working away from the top position though.

Buffet has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Leach defend it? Buffet steps over the head and cranks it - Leach is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Buffet!
