The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
I Can misses the shot to the body.
Priester looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
I Can lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by I Can.
It looks like Landon Priester has been cut.

and Priester counters with an inside leg kick.
I Can takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
I Can staying out of range there.
Landon Priester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Priester pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces I Can back to the cage. Priester follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Priester stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Priester wants it to stay on the feet.

I Can has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Priester after a bit of a struggle.
I Can fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Priester tries to throw a body punch but I Can avoids it by throwing Priester back against the cage.
I Can throws a punch but it's blocked by Priester.
I Can throws a head punch that misses.
Priester lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of I Can backwards.

Priester swings wildly with an uppercut but I Can uses good head movement to avoid it.
I Can tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Priester smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Because I Can. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Priester fakes high and swings low for a body shot but I Can manages to avoid it.
Priester throws a leg kick but I Can moved away.
I Can lands with a nice body punch.

That has opened up Landon Priester's cut even more.
Priester moves out of range as I Can strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Priester connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between I Can's hands.
