Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eros Ramasotti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 2, fighting out of New York, Dam Son! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramasotti looks to land a right hand but Son moved out of range. Son tries to counter with a clinch but Ramasotti shakes him off and moves away. A head kick misses from Ramasotti. Son throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ramasotti counters with a nice leg kick. Ramasotti takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Ramasotti slips under a jab. Son throws a sloppy head kick and Ramasotti moves out of range easily. A jab from Ramasotti misses. Ramasotti looks to throw the jab but Son is out of range. Son throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ramasotti half committed to a counter leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Son checks a leg kick. Son fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Son throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Son fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ramasotti looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Ramasotti counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ramasotti defending well as Son loads up on a big left hand. Ramasotti uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Son. Ramasotti appears to be looking for a big counter. We've been informed that Son has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Son throws a sloppy body shot
and Ramasotti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Nice body punch from Ramasotti. Son misses with a low kick. Ramasotti chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Ramasotti ducks under a wild hook from Son. Ramasotti tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Son manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Son now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Son throws a sloppy head kick and Ramasotti counters with a good low kick that Son was not able to check. Ramasotti clinches up with Son and pushes him back against the ropes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ramasotti blocks an elbow strike. In favor of your winner, by split decision... Dam Son! A less than humble Dam Son misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
