The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAdvar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
McAdvar throws a body shot but no joy.
Romero showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McAdvar.
McAdvar jabs Romero to the body, keeping him at a distance.
McAdvar misses with the combination.
And Romero tries to counter it with a takedown but McAdvar pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Baines McAdvar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McAdvar lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
McAdvar lands the left hand.
Romero shoots in looking for a takedown. McAdvar tries to sprawl out of it but Romero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McAdvar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Romero looks winded!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McAdvar sends Romero crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McAdvar is motioning to the referee to let Romero up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
