Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franks blocks a head kick by Davis.
Franks went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Franks drives through with a takedown into Davis's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Franks wants to stand but Davis has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Franks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Davis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Franks has managed to get both his arms back between Davis's legs - danger averted.
Davis looking to control.
Davis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Franks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Franks throws a big elbow that misses.

Franks postures up.
Davis had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Franks defends it easily.
Franks postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Franks gets to his feet - Davis follows without any prompting.
Franks looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Davis looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Franks has picked Davis up and slammed him! Davis can't keep hold of the triangle and Franks manages to pass to side control!
Franks decides to stand back up. Franks steps back and let's Davis get back to his feet.
Davis shoots in but Franks avoids the takedown attempt easily.
As Davis looks to move away, Franks throws a big counter combo but Davis just gets out of the way.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Davis.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Davis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Davis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Franks strikes from the bottom.

Franks is not content to let Davis control the position.
Davis misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Franks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground.
Davis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Franks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis swings around for an armbar but Franks sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Davis's guard.
Franks has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Franks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Davis is tightening it up a little... Franks has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Franks reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Franks taps out! Nice BJJ there by Davis!
