Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elwood Blair! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Curtis Banks! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Darius Henderson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks wants to clinch. Banks dives in and scores a takedown into Blair's guard. Blair is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Banks presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Blair jumps guard and drags Banks to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Blair is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nice strikes from Blair there. Banks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blair. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This has been an exciting period of action! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blair connects with a nice short shot to Banks's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks is trying to maintain the position but Blair is very close to passing his half guard. Banks wants to get back to full guard but Blair has mounted him! Banks can't escape the position.
Banks tries to hold on but Blair postures up. Blair looking to control and managing it successfully. Blair fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Banks wants to hold on but Blair pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blair in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Blair looking for a guillotine from mount but Banks is having none of it. Blair lands a big shot there that rocks Banks but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Banks is rocked! Banks looks winded! Blair sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Banks is still in real trouble! Can Blair finish him? BOOM! Blair connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Blair controlling from the full mount. Blair connects with a bit shot that sees Banks covering up! More strikes from Blair and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Blair is our winner by TKO!
