Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bernard Saint (ranked 4589 p4p, 536 weight class) and Mike Quick (ranked 6075 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bernard Saint!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Quick!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint avoids the head kick by Quick.
Quick misses with a straight left.

Saint drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Quick wants to get back to his feet but Saint is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Saint is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quick is looking to stand up but Saint isn't so interested in that idea.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Saint feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
