Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arod Doyea (ranked 1775 p4p, 175 weight class) and Master Roshi (ranked 2068 p4p, 206 weight class). Master Roshi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arod Doyea!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Roshi!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roshi defending well as Doyea loads up on a big left hand.
Roshi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Roshi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Doyea on the side of the head.
Doyea throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Roshi slips under a jab.
Roshi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Doyea on the side of the head.
Doyea shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Doyea misses with a looping left.
Roshi drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Doyea defends it well.
A telegraphed right hand from Roshi misses the target.
It looked like Doyea wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Doyea throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Roshi escapes and throws Doyea's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Doyea seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Roshi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Roshi is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Doyea had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Doyea's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Roshi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Doyea scrambles back to his feet.

Roshi might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Doyea has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Doyea there as he acknowledges the shot.
Doyea ducks under a wild hook from Roshi.
A looping hook to the body misses from Doyea. Roshi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Doyea is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Roshi.
Nice straight punches there by Roshi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Roshi.

Doyea fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Roshi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd cheers as Roshi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Doyea doesn't seem phased though.

Doyea throws a hook to the side of Roshi's head but Roshi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Doyea tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Roshi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Roshi has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Roshi cracks Doyea with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Doyea displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roshi throws out the jab.

Arod Doyea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doyea displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roshi throws out the jab.

Roshi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Doyea working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roshi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roshi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Doyea has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Roshi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Doyea.
Roshi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Doyea's head backwards.
Doyea shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Master Roshi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We've been hearing good reports from Doyea's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Doyea is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Roshi pulls his head out easily.

Doyea might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Master Roshi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Roshi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
