Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Van Der Veer (ranked 6127 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niels Pepijn (ranked 23274 p4p, 0 weight class). Pepijn has chosen Not Afraid by Eminem as his entrance music. Niels Pepijn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Van Der Veer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Niels Pepijn! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pepijn tries to clinch but Veer is having none of it. Pepijn closes the distance and clinches. Pepijn is fighting off a takedown attempt but Veer is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pepijn to the mat. Pepijn regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Veer's corner is telling him to maintain position. Pepijn wants to stand up but Veer is controlling him. Veer won't allow Pepijn to sweep him here. Pepijn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Veer defends well. Pepijn tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Veer cracks Pepijn with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Veer postures up and lands a big shot to Pepijn's brow. Veer works a leg free and moves into half guard. Pepijn is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Veer scores with a couple of nice shots. Veer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pepijn! Pepijn is trying to escape the mount.
Veer lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Veer raining down hammerfists from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pepijn wants to control but Veer is having none of it. Veer controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pepijn can't escape the position.
Veer controlling the position easily from mount. Pepijn is bucking up trying to escape but Veer cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Veer lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Pepijn hang on? Veer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Veer unloading with bombs! Pepijn tries to hold on but Veer pushes him away. Veer looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Veer connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Veer looking to finish Pepijn with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pepijn!
Pepijn is rocked! Veer in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Pepijn is still in real trouble! Can Veer finish him? The referee warns Pepijn that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Veer raining down shots from the mount! Veer content just to control the position here. Veer looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Pepijn covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
