The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockford shoots in but Shelby avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Shelby lands a slapping body shot.
Shelby fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Rockford fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Shelby tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
