Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Maher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Qu�n L�!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maher with a poor takedown
and L� counters with a nice low kick that buckles Maher's knee momentarily.
Maher takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Maher takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
L� lands a jab to the head.
A punch lands to the side of Maher 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Maher misses with an attempted mid kick.
L� cracks a nice hook into Maher's ribs.
L� fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maher looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
L� has managed to clinch.
L� lands with a left to the head.
L� scores with an uppercut up the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A short body shot lands from L� as the two fighters clinch.
L� lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Maher backwards.
Still in the clinch, L� scores with a nice short uppercut.
L� scores with a shot to the side of Maher's head.
L� lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Maher backwards.
Maher is rocked!
L� pushes Maher back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Maher tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
A hook to the body from L�.
Maher is breathing heavily.

A right hook to the body lands for L�.
L� scores with a nice hook to the head.
Oh Maher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
L� pushes Maher back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

L� lands a hook that snaps the head of Maher backwards.
Maher tries a knee to the head but L� blocks it.
We've been hearing reports that Maher has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
L� gets through Maher's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
L� creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Maher with a big uppercut! Maher tries to clinch up but L� pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Maher to the mat! Maher covers up and L� unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
