Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lowell Bowers (ranked 24513 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Carter (ranked 25396 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lowell Bowers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dennis Carter! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Good standup being displayed there by Carter as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Lowell Bowers has been cut. Bowers rushes Carter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Carter is trying to break the clinch but Bowers has him pressed against the cage. Bowers wants to take the fight to the mat but Carter manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Carter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bowers tries a body shot but Carter blocks it.
Carter is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bowers gets control of Carter's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bowers will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bowers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bowers looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bowers is on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter wants to get back to his feet but Bowers is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bowers postures up and lands a big shot to Carter's brow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowers gets to his feet - Carter follows without any prompting. Carter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bowers at a distance.
Carter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bowers throws a big counter combination but Carter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Carter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bowers eats them both and turns towards Carter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Carter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bowers is rocked! Carter throws an uppercut from hell that sends Bowers clean off his feet! He's out cold! Carter stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dennis Carter!
