Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Juravlev (ranked 973 p4p, 107 weight class) and Wabricio Ferdum (ranked 1955 p4p, 206 weight class). Ferdum has chosen PARIS - the devil made me do it as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juravlev throws a one two combo.
Ferdum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Juravlev manages to avoid it.
Ferdum defending well as Juravlev loads up on a big left hand.
Ferdum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Juravlev.
Juravlev was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ferdum waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Juravlev.
Juravlev darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ferdum misses with a wild combination.
Ferdum throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ferdum keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Juravlev displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ferdum.

Ferdum moves out of range as Juravlev strikes.
Ferdum looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Ferdum cracks Juravlev with a right hand to the side of the head.
Juravlev throws a poor cross that misses
and Ferdum counters with a straight right hand.
Ferdum connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ferdum is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

and Ferdum counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ferdum throws a body shot but no joy.
A left lands for Ferdum.
Juravlev throws out a loose jab but Ferdum uses good head movement to avoid it.
Juravlev drives through and clinches with Ferdum against the cage.
Juravlev tries to land a knee to the head but Ferdum blocks with his arms.
Juravlev misses with a hook from the clinch.
Juravlev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ferdum shoots in but no luck this time.
Alexey Juravlev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wabricio Ferdum.
Ferdum misses with a two punch combination.
Alexey Juravlev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good shot there by Ferdum.

Ferdum shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Juravlev eats them both and turns towards Ferdum to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Ferdum pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Juravlev misses with a body shot.
Ferdum misses with an uppercut.
Ferdum feints and as Juravlev raises his hands in defense, Ferdum changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Juravlev looking for a sweep. Not yet Juravlev, not yet.
Ferdum trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Juravlev is adopting a defensive guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ferdum's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ferdum stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Juravlev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ferdum stands up over Juravlev, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Alexey Juravlev's cut is getting worse.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ferdum wants to control from the top but Juravlev keeps moving.
Juravlev might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ferdum prevents Juravlev from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Juravlev has his hands on Ferdum's head, controlling the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ferdum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ferdum tries to free his leg and advance position but Juravlev is retaining full guard.
Juravlev wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Juravlev manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ferdum trying to control the position but instead, Juravlev has worked for underhooks and has pushed Ferdum into the cage.
Juravlev lands a knee to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Wabricio Ferdum will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Alexey Juravlev's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Juravlev connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Juravlev throws a body punch but Ferdum moves out of range.
A punch combination from Ferdum misses.
Juravlev tries to clinch but Ferdum moves out of range.
Ferdum rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Juravlev counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ferdum slips under a jab.
Ferdum looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Juravlev walks into a stiff left hand from Ferdum.
Wabricio Ferdum seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A combination from Ferdum does no damage.
Ferdum goes for a double leg but Juravlev avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Juravlev continues to drive forward.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ferdum. Juravlev does a little dance to reset his feet.
Juravlev drops Ferdum with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Ferdum! Juravlev dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
