Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Barbosa (ranked 4307 p4p, 496 weight class) and Paul Poulter (ranked 10069 p4p, 772 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 49 - 43 - 2, fighting out of London, Paul Poulter!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Poulter back to the cage. Barbosa follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Paul Poulter has been cut.
Poulter ducks under a wild hook from Barbosa.
Barbosa goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Barbosa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Poulter throws a hook but Barbosa avoids it easily.
Poulter throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Barbosa counters with a straight right hand.
Barbosa slips under a jab.
Poulter takes a jab right on the kisser.
Poulter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Poulter looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Poulter looks to land a left hand but Barbosa moved out of range nicely.
Nice uppercut there from Barbosa.
Barbosa stuns Poulter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Barbosa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Poulter's sensitive parts.
Barbosa swings for the body but Poulter moves out of range.
Poulter lands a slapping body shot.
Barbosa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Horrible takedown attempt by Poulter or perhaps it was just good defense by Barbosa, which made it look bad.

Barbosa lunges at Poulter with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Poulter's hand.
Barbosa connects with a looping right hand.
Barbosa falls off balance throwing a combination
and Poulter counters with a one-two to the body.
Barbosa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Barbosa throws a right and a left that Poulter avoids nicely.
Barbosa lands a jab.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Barbosa lands with a right to the head.
Poulter is still on wobbly legs! Can Barbosa finish him?
Poulter blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Poulter wants to break the clinch but can't.

Barbosa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Barbosa lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Poulter crumples to the floor! Barbosa milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Daniel Barbosa spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
