Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AG Pennypacker (ranked 1992 p4p, 253 weight class) and Russell Lynn (ranked 1617 p4p, 206 weight class). Lynn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ready, Set, Go - By: Killer Mike. Russell Lynn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, AG Pennypacker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Lynn! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynn lands a jab to the head.
Pennypacker clinches up against the cage. Pennypacker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jab, jab by Pennypacker - just one landing. Lynn sizes up Pennypacker with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Pennypacker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pennypacker throws a series of punches but Lynn moves out of range. Lynn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Pennypacker moves into the clinch. Pennypacker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pennypacker looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Pennypacker connects with the punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pennypacker connects with a body shot that sends Lynn's belly button to the back. Pennypacker missing with a left hand there. Lynn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lynn looks to score with a jab to the body but Pennypacker is just out of range. Pennypacker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Pennypacker scores with a jab to the jaw. Pennypacker needs to keep his hands up - Lynn had a free shot at his head there. Pennypacker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A shot to the liver by Lynn. Beautiful body shot. Lynn punishes Pennypacker's body with a nice straight punch. Lynn rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pennypacker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pennypacker takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pennypacker throws the kick towards the body but Lynn avoids it. Lynn throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pennypacker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pennypacker tries to close the distance and clinch but Lynn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pennypacker takes the fight into the clinch. Pennypacker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lynn has him pressed against the cage. Lynn manages to break the clinch.
Lynn scores with a sloppy right hand. Pennypacker should have avoided that one. Lynn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Pennypacker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lynn eats them both and turns towards Pennypacker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Pennypacker darts in and clinches Lynn up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Lynn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pennypacker gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Pennypacker scores with a jab to the jaw. Pennypacker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pennypacker tries to clinch there but Lynn circles away.

Pennypacker wants to clinch. Lynn connects with a right hand. Pennypacker shakes it off. Pennypacker moves into the clinch. Pennypacker leaning his opponent against the cage. Lynn gets through Pennypacker's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Lynn wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lynn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pennypacker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Pennypacker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pennypacker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lynn tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Pennypacker misses with a hook. Lynn ducked under it nicely. Lynn is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Pennypacker moves away from the strike by Lynn. Pennypacker takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Nice shot by Lynn.
Pennypacker is rocked! Pennypacker tries to clinch up. Pennypacker clinches with his opponent.
Pennypacker tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Pennypacker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lynn lands a glancing blow to the side of Pennypacker's head. Oh Pennypacker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lynn jabs Pennypacker right on the nose. Pennypacker blinks but takes it well. Russell Lynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lynn is stalking Pennypacker. Pennypacker circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Lynn, and it's lights out! Pennypacker really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Russell Lynn! In his post fight interview, Russell Lynn started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
