The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crew takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Terry Crew has been cut.

Crew shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tchusuk's guard.
Tchusuk is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Crew dives into side control.

Crew seems to be looking for submissions.
Crew is looking to take a break and control but Tchusuk is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crew passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tchusuk!

Crew wants to finish this one by submission but Tchusuk is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Crew.
Tchusuk felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
