Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chinggis Khaan (ranked 2190 p4p, 281 weight class) and Ben Turner (ranked 2445 p4p, 315 weight class). Ben Turner acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ben Turner!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khaan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Khaan showed some decent athleticism there.
Khaan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Khaan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Khaan slips a nice elbow through Turner's hands, connecting with Turner's forehead.
Turner regains full guard. Nicely done.
Khaan connects with a couple of short punches.
Turner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Khaan throws a strike but Turner rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khaan wants to get back to his feet but Turner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Khaan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Khaan tries to throw a body punch but Turner avoids it by throwing Khaan back against the cage.

Khaan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Turner smiles and moves away.
Khaan cracks Turner with a good jab.
Turner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Turner wants it to stay on the feet.

Khaan looks to land a body kick but Turner moved away.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Turner tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Turner blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Turner misses with a hook from the clinch.
Turner swings wildly with an uppercut but Khaan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Turner prevents a body shot from Khaan.
Turner gets through Khaan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Khaan is trying to drag Turner to the mat but Turner just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Khaan throws a head punch that misses.
Turner slows down the pace here.
Turner lands with a light punch inside.
Turner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Khaan misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Turner to counter with a crisp jab.

A looping hook to the body misses from Khaan. Turner does a little dance to reset his feet.
Khaan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Khaan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turner's waist but Turner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Khaan off to one side.

Turner rushes Khaan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Khaan is rocked!
Turner creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Khaan with a big uppercut! Khaan tries to clinch up but Turner pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Khaan to the mat! Khaan covers up and Turner unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ben Turner!
Ben Turner very nearly forgot to thank Red Light Coffeeshop amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
