Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Potter (ranked 818 p4p, 113 weight class) and Castor Rollins (ranked 1332 p4p, 177 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Potter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Castor Rollins! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rollins stuffs the takedown. Rollins steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Potter. Potter connects with the punch. Potter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rollins paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Rollins dips to his left and cracks Potter with an uppercut! Potter shoots for a double leg takedown but Rollins sprawls well. He's pushed Potter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A cross from Rollins lands. Potter slips under a jab from Rollins. Potter throws a hook to the side of Rollins's head but Rollins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Rollins steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Potter. Potter misses with a hook
and Rollins moves into the clinch. Rollins swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Potter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rollins walks away with a smile on his face. Potter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Potter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rollins throws a right and a left that Potter avoids nicely. A telegraphed right hand from Potter misses the target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Donk. Rollins catches Potter right on the button with a cross. Potter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rollins's guard. Potter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rollins works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rollins keeping moving, preventing Potter from controlling successfully. Potter is fighting to break Rollins's control of his arms but Rollins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Potter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Potter throws a big elbow that misses. Potter wants to pass the guard but Rollins is keeping the position. Potter throws an elbow that misses. Rollins uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Potter's guard. Nice move by Rollins! Potter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rollins is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Potter looking to control but Rollins passes into half guard.
Potter is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Rollins jumps into side control! Potter is looking for a sweep. Potter is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rollins in side control, just content to control the action for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Potter can't do much from the bottom here. Potter is looking to regain half guard here but Rollins keeps moving and retains side control. Rollins controlling the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Potter is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Potter's face as Rollins controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Potter tries to land a front kick but Rollins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Potter fails to land the takedown. Rollins scores with the left hand. Potter knows he should have avoided that one. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Potter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rollins felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Potter throwing strikes but Rollins manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Castor Rollins dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rollins slips a jab from Potter. Potter closes the distance and pushes Rollins back into the cage. Potter tries to circle away but Rollins has him pinned against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Potter. Rollins misses with a body punch.
Potter is trying to pull guard but Rollins turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Rollins throws a punch but it's blocked by Potter. Rollins has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Potter is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Potter lands a hook to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Potter is trying to pull guard but Rollins turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Potter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Potter tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Potter is trying to pull guard but Rollins has him pressed against the cage. Potter is trying to drag Rollins to the mat but Rollins just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Potter can't get the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rollins makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Potter blocking some punches.
Rollins lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Potter backwards. Potter has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rollins regains guard immediately. Rollins pulls Potter in close to prevent any damage. Potter wants to control from the top but Rollins keeps moving. Potter content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Potter passes Rollins's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Rollins is trying to maintain the position but Potter is very close to passing his half guard. Potter is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rollins sees it coming and defends easily. Potter throwing shots but Rollins is blocking nicely. Potter stalling away here and it's allowed Rollins to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Rollins is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potter trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Rollins manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Potter tries to land a sweep but no joy. Potter looking to control.
Rollins sitting in guard, not really doing much. Potter trying to control the position here. Potter thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Potter looking for a sweep. Not yet Potter, not yet. Potter controls Rollins momentarily but Rollins frees himself. Potter has control of Rollins's left arm, preventing Rollins from doing any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A good leg kick by Potter. Rollins connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Potter takes a shot right to the bread basket. Rollins lands a nice shot to the body.
Potter shoots in for a takedown but Rollins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Rollins throws a jab but it's blocked by Potter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Castor Rollins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Potter fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Potter sets himself, and Rollins steps forward looking for the clinch! Potter avoids it this time. Potter throws a big shot that misses. A bone on bone clash there as Rollins blocks the leg kick.
Rollins steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Potter. Alexander Potter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rollins throws a right and a left that Potter avoids nicely. Potter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Potter tries to close the distance and clinch but Rollins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Potter throws out a loose jab but Rollins uses good head movement to avoid it. Potter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Potter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rollins throws out the jab. Rollins throws out a powerful jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter fails with a takedown attempt. Nice jab there from Rollins. Potter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Potter shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Potter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Potter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A telegraphed right hand from Rollins misses the target. Potter misses with a looping right. Rollins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Potter.
Potter tries to counter with a takedown but Rollins is quick to defend against it. Potter pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Alexander Potter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Potter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rollins circles away. Rollins tries to counter with a clinch but Potter shakes him off and moves away. Potter ducks under a wild hook from Rollins. Rollins changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Potter misses with a looping left. Potter sets himself, and Rollins steps forward looking for the clinch! Potter avoids it this time. Potter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rollins's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Potter throws a big right hand that misses. Rollins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Potter is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Potter trying to control but Rollins is working from the bottom. Potter lands a couple of digs. Castor Rollins has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rollins keeping moving, preventing Potter from controlling successfully. Rollins being controlled here, momentarily. Rollins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Potter's guard.
Castor Rollins is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Potter wants to control the position but Rollins says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Potter wants to get back to full guard. Rollins tries to pass the half guard into mount. Potter knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Potter trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rollins has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Potter working to try and regain half guard.
Potter throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Potter tries to get back to half guard but can't. Potter regains half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Castor Rollins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rollins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
