The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothbard checks a low kick from Carpenter.
Carpenter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rothbard.
Carpenter pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rothbard slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A lazy left from Rothbard finds it's target.
A low kick from Carpenter misses
and Rothbard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carpenter walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rothbard checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rothbard showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Carpenter.
Carpenter swings for the body but Rothbard moves out of range.
Rothbard looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
