Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Voshon Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jigga Boo!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ben Watson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Daniels.
Boo throws a counter combo.
Boo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Daniels lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Jigga Boo has been cut.
A jab from Daniels misses.
Daniels looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Some wild striking there from Boo.
Daniels throws the left hand but Boo avoids the punch easily.
Daniels drops Boo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boo looks back up at him and smiles so Daniels waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Daniels scores with a counter punch that sends Boo to the canvas! Daniels smells blood - he's punishing Boo with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Boo has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Voshon Daniels!
Voshon Daniels spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
