Poffo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Genius. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Poffo closes the distance and pushes Prime back into the cage.
Prime lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Prime gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Prime.
Poffo misses with an elbow strike.
Poffo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Prime pulls his leg out and moves away.
Prime lands with a nice body punch.
No luck for Poffo with that takedown attempt.
Prime throws a counter combo.
Nice uppercut lands for Prime. That snapped Poffo's head back.
Poffo takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Prime circles away from the clinch attempt
and Prime counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lanny Poffo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Prime lands a two punch combo.

Prime drops Poffo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Poffo looks back up at him and smiles so Prime waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Poffo is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Prime ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Poffo clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
