Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sloan Erak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sloan Erak was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Maximus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Sloan Erak!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Erak is looking to improve his position.
Erak avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Maximus.
Maximus passes to full mount!
Maximus goes for an armbar but Erak turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Erak.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Maximus throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Maximus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Erak is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Maximus keeping full guard, as Erak tries to pass.
Maximus has his hands on Erak's head, controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Erak stands and throws Maximus's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Maximus is trying to control Erak's posture but Erak avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Maximus is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Erak off and has taken his back!
I really don't envy Erak right now.
Erak breaks Maximus's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Erak won't allow Maximus to sweep him here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Erak avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Maximus dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Erak is looking to clinch but Maximus is avoiding it.
Marcus Maximus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Maximus misses with a wild combination.
Nice takedown defense from Erak. No joy for Maximus on that attempt.
Erak misses with a takedown attempt
and Maximus counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Maximus.
Maximus's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Erak isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Maximus stacks Erak on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Maximus!
Erak gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Erak is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Erak is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Maximus scores with a couple of nice shots.
Well, if Maximus is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Maximus is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Erak has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Erak is in trouble now - Maximus has advanced to mount!
Maximus working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Erak looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Maximus! Submission of the night perhaps?
