Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dillon Bender (ranked 24841 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anzor Temirrov (ranked 5961 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Anzor Temirrov enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dillon Bender! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anzor Temirrov! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bender throws a leg kick but Temirrov sees it coming and checks it nicely. Bender fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Temirrov sprawls well initially but Bender persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Bender seems content to control. Temirrov tries to get to full guard but Bender has control of the leg. Bender is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Bender is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bender wants to lay and pray for a moment but Temirrov keeps working. Temirrov trying to control but Bender postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bender decides to stand up. Bender looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bender feints and as Temirrov raises his hands in defense, Bender changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bender postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bender slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bender preventing the sweep. Bender is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Temirrov can do anything to dispel that myth. Bender trying to control the position from guard on top but Temirrov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bender stops Temirrov from standing up. Temirrov wants to sweep but no luck. Temirrov controls Bender momentarily but Bender frees himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bender gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Temirrov is fighting to break Bender's control of his arms but Bender is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Bender has a closed guard, preventing Temirrov from standing up. Bender working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Temirrov trying to control the position from guard on top but Bender is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Temirrov showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bender manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Temirrov manages to get himself to full guard.
Temirrov looks winded! Bender seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Temirrov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bender advances position into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dillon Bender dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Temirrov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bender pushes Temirrov off but Temirrov dives into side control.
Bender is looking to reverse the position. Bender controls the position for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bender wants to get back to his feet but Temirrov drags him back down. Bender parries the strikes from Temirrov easily there. Temirrov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bender to escape.
Dillon Bender overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Temirrov is looking to take a break and control but Bender is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Temirrov goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bender rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Temirrov's guard! Nice work there by Bender! Bender trying to control but Temirrov is working from the bottom. Bender slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Temirrov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bender off and has taken his back! Temirrov is breathing heavily.

Temirrov is looking to control Bender but Bender is wriggling around and keeping busy. Bender is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Temirrov is landing with strikes from the back. Temirrov is not going to allow Bender to sit and survive in this position. Temirrov is persistently looking for the submission but Bender is defending it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bender tries to escape the position.
Bender manages to reverse the position and now he's in Temirrov's guard. Nice work there by Bender.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bender's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bender with a nice head shot there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bender makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bender controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dillon Bender will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Bender fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bender swats away the attempt to clinch by Temirrov. Dillon Bender is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Temirrov misses with a jab, cross combination.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bender is defended easily by Temirrov. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bender dives in for a single leg takedown but Temirrov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Bender looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Temirrov is fending him off so far but Bender persists. Nope, Temirrov circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Temirrov is looking to clinch but Bender is avoiding it.
Temirrov wants to clinch up but Bender keeps it at a distance. Temirrov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bender. Bender fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Anzor Temirrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bender gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Temirrov counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Temirrov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bender has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Temirrov lands an elbow inside that Bender shrugs off.
It looks like Dillon Bender has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Temirrov breaks from the clinch.
Bender fails to land the takedown. Temirrov moves into the clinch. Temirrov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bender shoots in and drives through. Temirrov sprawls well. Temirrov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Temirrov wants to control from the top but Bender keeps moving. Temirrov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bender wants to sweep but no luck. Temirrov looking to sit in guard and control but Bender gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Temirrov has his foot on Bender's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bender works his way back into a safe position though. Bender is pushing down on Temirrov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Temirrov is fighting to maintain full guard but Bender has managed to sneak the leg through. Bender perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bender lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bender content to control rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bender lands strikes from half guard. Anzor Temirrov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dillon Bender is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bender takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
And that's the end of the fight! Anzor Temirrov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bender has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
