Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jig Saw (ranked 25393 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dumb Slow (ranked 23814 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jig Saw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dumb Slow! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saw closes the distance and clinches. Saw has Slow pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Saw pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Slow tumbling to the mat - Saw dives into Slow's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Saw gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Saw fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slow avoids it really well and circles away. Slow gets the takedown into side control. Saw throws Slow to one side and escapes! This has been an exciting period of action! Slow connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Saw momentarily.
Slow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Saw's waist but Saw gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slow off to one side. Slow turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Saw tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Slow is in Saw's guard. Saw is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Slow presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Slow drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Saw is trying to break the clinch but Slow has him pressed against the cage. Slow jumps guard but Saw stands there with Slow around his waist. Slow gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jig Saw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dumb Slow. Saw successfully pulls guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Saw holds on and takes a little breather. Saw manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Saw gets control of Slow's arms and successfully pulls guard. Saw will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Saw is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Saw managing to block the knees to the body from Slow.
Saw drags the fight down to the ground.
Slow trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Saw manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Saw throwing strikes from guard but Slow blocks nicely. Saw works a leg free and moves into half guard. Saw sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slow is looking for a sweep. Saw is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Saw not landing any meaningful shots this time. Saw decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Slow closes this distance looking for a takedown but Saw circles away. Saw misses with a takedown attempt - Slow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Slow, right into the meat.
Slow throws a head kick that half lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slow has his takedown stuffed and Saw counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Slow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Saw sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Slow. No joy for Saw on that attempt. Saw is breathing heavily. Saw closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Saw tries for a takedown but Slow manages to get underhooks.
Slow is trying to break the clinch but Saw has him pressed against the cage. Slow has clasped his hands together around Saw's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Saw explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slow gets in close and instigates a clinch. Slow has had enough of the clinch but Saw keeps him there for the moment. Slow manages to pull guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jig Saw dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Slow shoots in looking for a takedown. Saw tries to sprawl out of it but Slow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saw manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Slow is looking to clinch. Saw has Slow up against the cage in a clinch.
Slow keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Saw's efforts to push away. Slow is pressed up against the cage. Saw has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Slow down to the mat. Slow avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slow throws a shot to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Slow as Saw shoots in. A combination from Slow does no damage. Dumb Slow seems to be getting the better of the standup. Saw pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saw tries for a takedown but Slow circles away easily and Slow counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jig Saw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Slow tests Saw's chin there with a solid looking shot. Slow rushes Saw and presses him up against the cage. Saw slowing the pace effectively. Slow stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Saw is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Slow pulls him back up using the underhooks. Slow is looking to break free of the clinch but Saw has double underhooks. Slow is trying to break the clinch but Saw has him pressed against the cage. Slow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Saw smiles and moves away.
Slow drives through with a takedown into Saw's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Saw uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Slow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Saw swats him away and circles back towards the center. Saw shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Slow sprawls well. Slow wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Saw gets slowly back to his feet. Slow wants to clinch up but Saw keeps it at a distance. Slow lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Saw backs up against the cage.
Slow feints and as Saw raises his hands in defense, Slow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Slow wants to control from the top but Saw keeps moving. Saw is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slow wants to control from the top but Saw keeps moving. Slow throws a big elbow that misses. Slow working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Slow stopping the sweep attempt from Saw. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Slow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Slow scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Slow has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Saw is proving hard to escape from.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Slow is looking to clinch but Saw is avoiding it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Slow scores with a head kick. Saw tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Slow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Slow cracks the inside of Saw's front leg. Slow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Saw as he jumps to the side. Slow throws a head kick but Saw moves out of range.
Slow shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saw but Saw pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jig Saw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Slow throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Saw misses with a looping right. Slow gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dumb Slow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Saw's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Slow shoots in but Saw avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nice jab there from Slow. Saw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A chopping leg kick lands by Slow. Slow checks a leg kick. Saw fails with a takedown attempt from distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slow throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saw. Slow tries to clinch up letting Saw counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saw has Slow up against the cage in a clinch.
Saw struggles to land a body shot inside as Slow controls his hands.
Slow tries to pull guard but Saw holds him up against the cage and eventually Slow drops back down to his feet.
Slow is trying to force a seperation but Saw has the dominant position. Saw breaks the clinch.
Saw has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Slow. Slow takes the fight into the clinch. Slow tries to circle away but Saw has him pinned against the cage. Saw pulls guard successfully.
Slow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Saw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Slow has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Saw is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slow stopping the sweep attempt from Saw. Slow with a flurry of punches that miss. Saw doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Slow looking to sit in guard and control but Saw gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Slow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saw controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Slow has an active guard here but Saw has managed to pass into half guard.
Still in half guard, Saw seems content to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Saw frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Slow tries to control the position but Saw now has his back.
Slow is really stuck here.
Slow trying to control the hands but Saw won't let him. What can Slow do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Jig Saw showed his dominance in that final round. I think Saw has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
