Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Bison!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bison cracks the inside of Ruger's front leg.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bison.
Ruger closes the distance and clinches up with Bison, looking for a takedown. Ruger pushes Bison against the cage but Bison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ruger walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bison.
Ruger dives in and grabs Bison's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bison pushes down on Ruger's head and hops out.
Ruger is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bison fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bison throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Ruger swats away the attempt to clinch by Bison.
Ruger attempts a counter takedown but Bison avoids it well and moves away.

and Ruger counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Bison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ruger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ruger seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bison does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ruger scores with a big shot! Bison's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bison! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
