Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Toby Marsh (ranked 3568 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanno Seppanen (ranked 3691 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Toby Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hanno Seppanen!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh shoots in looking for a takedown. Seppanen tries to sprawl out of it but Marsh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Seppanen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A little jabbing left from Seppanen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Marsh fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Seppanen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Seppanen moves into the clinch successfully.
Marsh fails to pull guard.

Marsh has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Seppanen regains guard immediately.
Marsh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Seppanen on the ground.

Marsh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Seppanen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marsh has managed to get both his arms back between Seppanen's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Seppanen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marsh tries to free his leg and advance position but Seppanen is retaining full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Seppanen takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Marsh is looking to take a break and control but Seppanen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Marsh tries for a kimura but Seppanen is defending well.
You can see the frustration on Seppanen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Seppanen is holding Marsh down, trying to stall.

Marsh looks up at the clock and then as Seppanen takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Marsh smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Seppanen prevents Marsh from moving into mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Seppanen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Marsh's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Seppanen is looking to improve his position.

Marsh looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Marsh tries to pass to full mount but Seppanen defends it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Marsh prevents Seppanen from improving his position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Marsh lands with a punch from half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Seppanen is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Marsh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

It looked like Marsh was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Seppanen slaps away a takedown attempt from Marsh, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Seppanen is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Horrible takedown attempt by Marsh or perhaps it was just good defense by Seppanen, which made it look bad.

Seppanen was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Seppanen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Seppanen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Marsh is wriggling around but Seppanen manages to pass to half guard.

Seppanen is keen to just control but Marsh is a slippery customer.

Marsh tries to hold on but Seppanen pushes him away.
Marsh is trying desperately to improve position.
Marsh is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Marsh is in all sorts of trouble here.
Marsh manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Marsh has hold of Seppanen's hands but Seppanen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Seppanen keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Marsh is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Seppanen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Seppanen's back!

Marsh has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Seppanen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Marsh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Seppanen manages to get himself to full guard.

Seppanen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hanno Seppanen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Marsh tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Seppanen just stands there and leans against the cage.
Marsh's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Marsh connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Seppanen tries to clinch but Marsh is having none of it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Marsh shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Seppanen is trying to defend but Marsh finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Marsh wants to work for an arm triangle but Seppanen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Marsh stalling away here and it's allowed Seppanen to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
