Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Landon Priester (ranked 5347 p4p, 385 weight class) and Jason Bozzi (ranked 3944 p4p, 0 weight class). Landon Priester could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jason Bozzi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Landon Priester! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Bozzi! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bozzi ducks right into an uppercut from Priester. Priester moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Bozzi throws a leg kick and Priester counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bozzi is lucky that one didn't land flush. Priester displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bozzi. Priester definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bozzi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Priester fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bozzi changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Priester feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bozzis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Landon Priester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Priester with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bozzi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Priester avoids it really well and circles away. Priester connects with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Priester misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bozzi.
Priester throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Priester thows a leg kick but Bozzi checks it enabling Bozzi to counter with a crisp jab. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Priester.
Bozzi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Priester defends it nicely. Landon Priester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Bozzi. Priester defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bozzi. Bozzi moves forwards but Priester connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bozzi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Priester throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Priester throws a leg kick that misses. Bozzi let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Bozzi throws a solid leg kick but Priester takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bozzi. Priester thuds his right hand into Bozzi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Landon Priester is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Priester scores with a body shot.
Priester throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bozzi sees it coming and avoids it easily. Priester scores with a slapping inside leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Bozzi clinches with his opponent.

Priester lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bozzi backwards. Priester struggles to land a body shot inside as Bozzi controls his hands.

Priester is working for takedown but Bozzi is calmly controlling the position for now. Bozzi fails to pull guard.

Bozzi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Priester circles away.

Nice body kick from Priester. Bozzi takes a swing at Priester's ribcage but misses. Priester throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Priester misses with a body shot.
Bozzi drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Priester defends it well. Priester misses with a shot to the body and Bozzi counters with a nice low kick that buckles Priester's knee momentarily. Priester thumps Bozzi with a low kick. Bozzi wants to clinch. Priester throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bozzi throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bozzi ducks under a wild hook from Priester. Priester stuffs the takedown attempt from Bozzi. Bozzi gets slowly back to his feet. Bozzi moves out of range as Priester throws a body kick.
Bozzi misses with a leg kick. A slow jab from Priester misses its intended target. Bozzi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Priester is trying to defend but Bozzi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Priester is trying to control but can't.
Bozzi is working for a submission of some sort.
Priester is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Landon Priester dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bozzi defending well as Priester loads up on a big left hand. Priester lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bozzi shoots in looking for a takedown. Priester tries to sprawl out of it but Bozzi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Priester manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bozzi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Priester avoids it really well and circles away. Priester pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bozzi is out of range and Priester settles back down. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Priester swats away the attempt to clinch by Bozzi. Landon Priester is winning the standup battle so far. Priester lands a jab. Priester swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Priester lands a really nice looking cross but Bozzi seems unphased.
Priester changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Bozzi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bozzi misses with a shot to the body and Priester counters with a stiff right hand. Bozzi wants to clinch up but Priester keeps it at a distance. Bozzi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Priester can pounce on him.
Jason Bozzi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Priester tried to score with a low kick but Bozzi checks it. Bozzi steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Priester. Priester connects with an inside leg kick. Priester getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Priester gets tackled into the cage by Bozzi. Bozzi maintains the clinch. Bozzi manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bozzi is defended easily by Priester. Landon Priester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Bozzi.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bozzi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Priester misses with a body kick. Priester throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Priester lands a slapping body shot.

and Bozzi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Priester tries to roll over but Bozzi keeps him under control. Priester wants to control but Bozzi is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bozzi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Priester keeps working. Bozzi throws a strike but Priester avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Priester trying to keep a closed guard but Bozzi is proving a slippery customer.
Priester utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bozzi throws a big elbow that misses. Priester is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Priester escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bozzi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Priester has momentary wrist control but Bozzi slips an elbow through the middle. Bozzi trying to control the position from guard on top but Priester is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Priester preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bozzi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. The fighters circle momentarily. Priester darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Bozzi walks into a left hand. Bozzi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Priester sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Priester keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bozzi. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Landon Priester dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Priester looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Priester misses with a kick to the body and Bozzi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Priester won't be happy with that. Bozzi in side control lands a decent elbow. Priester knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bozzi on the ground. Priester tries to bench press Bozzi off him but Bozzi keeps the position. Priester is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bozzi can do to turn this around? Priester isn't going anywhere. Priester is not content to let Bozzi control the position. Bozzi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Priester is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bozzi tries to score with some ground and pound. Priester controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Bozzi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bozzi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bozzi is looking to take a break and control but Priester is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bozzi landing a few strikes. Priester tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bozzi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Priester has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bozzi but great work by Priester. Priester tries to stand but Bozzi is controlling his head. Bozzi is looking for a sweep. Bozzi has one of Priester's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Priester wants to stand but Bozzi is controlling his arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bozzi is trying to get back to half guard. Priester tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Priester tries to stand but Bozzi controls the position and pulls Priester into his guard. Priester wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bozzi's closed guard. He's half up but Bozzi has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bozzi pivots and extends the arm, Priester falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bozzi! Well done that man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jason Bozzi! A relieved looking Jason Bozzi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
