Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jere Decker (ranked 25223 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Innes (ranked 5785 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jere Decker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Innes!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decker throws a right and a left that Innes avoids nicely.
Innes lunges at Decker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Decker's hand.

and Innes makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Innes looking to score a takedown here. Decker is defending well but Innes drives through and ends up in Decker's guard.
Innes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Decker is keeping the position for now.
Decker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Decker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Innes controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Innes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Decker's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Innes thows a huge punch but Decker dodges it nicely.
Decker tries to roll over but Innes keeps him under control.
Innes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Innes wants to pass to mount but Decker is defending the position.
Innes tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Decker.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Still in half guard, Innes seems content to control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Decker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Decker showed some decent athleticism there.
Innes keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Decker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Decker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Innes on the ground.
Innes makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Innes.
Innes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Innes is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Innes is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Decker!

Innes is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Decker can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Innes seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Decker is holding on tight.
Innes wants to get back to his feet but Decker is holding on tight.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Innes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Innes stands and throws Decker's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Innes is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Decker has escaped the position, nice work there.
Innes in side control, just content to control the action for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Innes is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Decker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Innes decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Decker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Innes did well to prevent Decker getting side control.
Innes manages to get to full guard.
Innes has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Decker throwing strikes from guard but Innes blocks nicely.

Decker is sitting in close to Innes's body. Innes has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Decker is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Decker is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Innes.
