Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, ZB Penduko! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penduko explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Penduko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Scott circles away quickly and effectively. Penduko shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Scott is trying to defend but Penduko finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Penduko decides to return to a standing position. Penduko throws a half hearted mid kick. Penduko gets in close and instigates a clinch. Penduko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Scott tries a head kick but it misses.

and Penduko counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Penduko. Penduko has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Scott clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Scott's coaches at Cozad MMA Los Angeles have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Penduko keeps control of the position easily here as Scott tries to buck him off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penduko missing with punches from the back. Penduko punches the canvas rather than the man. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Penduko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Penduko looking for the choke but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A bit of a pause in the action here. Penduko controlling the positon. Penduko is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Scott defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Scott wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Even with his hooks in, Penduko manages to miss with strikes from the back. Penduko throwing sloppy strikes. Penduko just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Penduko's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Penduko working for the choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Penduko working for a choke but Scott is defending well. Penduko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Penduko really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Scott. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scott trying to control but not successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
ZB Penduko dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Scott takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Penduko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Penduko showed some decent athleticism there. Penduko sitting and controlling from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott wants to improve his position but Penduko is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penduko is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Scott wants to get back to full guard. Penduko is taking a breather. Scott says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Penduko is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Scott defends it well.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Scott tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Penduko gets in close and instigates a clinch. Penduko jumps into guard, dragging Scott to the mat.
Scott tries to free his leg and advance position but Penduko is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Penduko is on top in guard.
Scott can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Penduko controls the pace. Penduko throws a big elbow that misses. Penduko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Penduko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Penduko stands up from Scott's guard - Penduko perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penduko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Scott, pushing him back against the cage. Scott tries to land a knee to the head but Penduko blocks with his arms.
Penduko lands a good knee to the midsection. Scott won't want to take too many of those. Penduko is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Penduko pulls guard effortlessly. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Penduko is on top in guard.
Penduko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scott swivels though and keeps the full guard. Penduko is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penduko forces his way into half guard. ZB Penduko has got the better of the ground game so far. Penduko is controlling the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Penduko passes to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
ZB Penduko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Penduko tries to bum rush Scott with a series of wild strikes but Scott uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Penduko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Scott was covering up waiting for the punch and Penduko finishes the takedown easily into guard. Scott tries to strike from the bottom.
Penduko stands and throws Scott's legs to the side, diving into side control. Penduko throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Penduko throws a strike aimed at the side of Scott's head but Scott avoids it well. Penduko lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Scott down.
Scott seems a little lost for a moment, as Penduko dominates the positioning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penduko postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Penduko in side control, just content to control the action for now. Penduko has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Penduko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Scott's guard. Penduko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Scott avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott looking for a guillotine here but Penduko defends easily.
Penduko is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Penduko stands up and waves to Scott to follow him. Scott gets caught flat footed, as Penduko shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penduko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Scott misses with a series of wild punches.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Penduko avoids the head kick by Scott.
Penduko steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Penduko has managed to clinch.

Penduko has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Scott is trying to keep an underhook but Penduko manages to get the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Penduko lands with a punch from half guard. Penduko escapes and gets back to his feet. Penduko clinches with his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penduko lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Scott. Come on Penduko - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Scott is trying to break free. A nice right hand lands inside from Penduko. Scott taking a breather. Penduko breaks from the clinch.
Scott throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Penduko gets in close and instigates a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Penduko has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Scott uses from the top position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Penduko is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Michael Scott has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! ZB Penduko is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Penduko is controlling the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! ZB Penduko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Penduko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
