Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brad Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Brekker! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Brekker does no damage. Foster looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Brekker throws a right hand that Foster ducks under and follows up with a left that Foster also avoids with ease. Foster throws a counter high kick but Brekker was just alert enough to avoid it. A jab lands there for Brekker. Brekker tries to bum rush Foster with a series of wild strikes but Foster uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Andrew Brekker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brekker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Foster. Foster tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brekker paws at him with a jab and circles away. Foster throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brekker's waist but Brekker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Foster off to one side. No luck with that takedown attempt from Foster. Brekker looks to land a combination but Foster avoids it well. Brekker throws a one two combo.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brekker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Foster circles away quickly and effectively. A little feinted left hand from Foster on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Brekker throws a looping overhand right but Foster ducks down to avoid it. Brekker misses with the combination.

Brekker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Foster moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Brekker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brekker throws a hook to the side of Foster's head but Foster sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Foster showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brekker.

Andrew Brekker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
