Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Mamed Materla (ranked 7221 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Reljic (ranked 7223 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Reljic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Materla. Reljic is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Materla tries to counter with a takedown but Reljic is quick to defend against it. Materla with a lazy takedown attempt and Reljic holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Materla gets a trip takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Materla (2) vs (0) Reljic Materla trying to control from half guard but Reljic is working away. Reljic keeping control of the position. Materla wants to pass the guard but Reljic is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Materla is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Materla is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Reljic wants to get back to full guard. Materla is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Reljic reverses the position - he's now on top in Materla's guard. Reljic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Reljic trying to control the position from guard on top but Materla is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Materla is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Reljic's corner is telling him to maintain position. Materla wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Materla is trying to escape and Reljic transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Materla is forced to tap! Nice work there by Reljic! Very nice indeed!
