Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus O Mally (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Busha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Mally comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Man. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

O Mally looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
O Mally wants to pass to mount but Busha is defending the position.
Busha tries to roll over but O Mally keeps him under control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

O Mally decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

O Mally tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no O Mally has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

O Mally connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Busha some visible discomfort.

O Mally tries to advance to mount but Busha instead regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
O Mally moves nicely into side control.

O Mally decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Busha misses with a takedown attempt

and O Mally counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Busha!

Busha wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by O Mally.

O Mally throwing strikes here but Busha is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

O Mally jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Busha manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Busha is trying to escape the position but O Mally is controlling the position.

O Mally working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

O Mally fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Busha, pushing him back against the cage.
O Mally has Busha pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Busha manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

O Mally pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and O Mally counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Busha's guard now.
O Mally postures up in Busha's guard and throws a big left but Busha blocks it.

O Mally drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Busha manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now O Mally has Busha in his guard.
Magnus O Mally overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Busha decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

O Mally looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Busha!
Busha is in all sorts of trouble here.

O Mally had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Busha is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. O Mally Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Busha's back instead.
Busha grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

O Mally is persistently looking for the submission but Busha is defending it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Will O Mally go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Bjorn Busha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

O Mally swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Busha is now in O Mally's guard. A big mistake from O Mally there, giving up the dominant position!
