Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Grason!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash shoots in but Grason avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Grason feints a counter leg kick.
Cash misses with a takedown attempt - Grason sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cash fails with a takedown attempt.
Grason changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mauricio Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cash trying to hold on to Grason's head to control him but Grason postures up.
Cash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Grason is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cash sees it coming and defends easily.

Grason seems to be looking for submissions.
Cash is trying is best to control the position here.

Grason is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Grason is working for a kimura but Cash is defending it quite comfortably.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
It looks like Grason is going to stand back up.
Grason looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cash with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Cash has his hands clasped together around Grason's back. He's all about the action.
Grason seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.


Cash is rocked!

Grason has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cash defend it? Grason steps over the head and cranks it - Cash is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Grason!
