Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernie Simpson (ranked 6127 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolay Malofeev (ranked 5793 p4p, 600 weight class). Malofeev has chosen Gelato al cioccolato - Pupo as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ernie Simpson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nikolay Malofeev!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malofeev closes the distance and pushes Simpson back into the cage.
Malofeev is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Simpson can't fight it off and eventually Malofeev manages to take the fight to the floor. Simpson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Malofeev slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simpson has a closed guard, preventing Malofeev from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Malofeev trying to move into half guard but instead Simpson has managed to sweep!
Simpson wants to control from the top but Malofeev keeps moving.
Simpson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Malofeev wants to get back to his feet but Simpson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Malofeev tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Simpson trying to control the position from guard on top but Malofeev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Malofeev controlling Simpson's posture.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Simpson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Malofeev has his hands on Simpson's head, controlling the position.
Malofeev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Simpson's guard.
Simpson controls Malofeev momentarily but Malofeev frees himself.
Malofeev gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Malofeev pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Simpson gets tackled into the cage by Malofeev. Malofeev maintains the clinch.
Malofeev gets underhooks to prevent Simpson's takedown attempt.
Malofeev has hold of one of Simpson's legs. Simpson is fighting the takedown attempt but Malofeev gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Malofeev trying to control but Simpson is working from the bottom.
Simpson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Malofeev manages to get himself to full guard.
Malofeev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Simpson defends it easily.
Simpson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Malofeev preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Simpson throwing strikes from guard but Malofeev blocks nicely.
Malofeev working for a triangle but Simpson defends it easily.
Simpson looking to sit in guard and control but Malofeev gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Malofeev accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nikolay Malofeev dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Malofeev throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Simpson crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Nikolay Malofeev!
Post fight, an emotional Nikolay Malofeev said 'Are you SERIOUS? where is my very opponent?...ahah faggot! OK 50gs baby!!! See you soon loser a hahaha. '.
