Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ross Buchanan (ranked 6281 p4p, 423 weight class) and John Blitz (ranked 5415 p4p, 387 weight class). Buchanan's entrance music is Roy Buchanan's Train Blues. A fine choice. Ross Buchanan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blitz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Buchanan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Buchanan throws the left hand but Blitz avoids the punch easily.
Buchanan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Blitz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
